Menasart Fair

The 2011 edition of MENASART-FAIR in Beirut will open its doors in a few weeks, from the 13th to the 16th of July (VIP launch on the 12th of July).

Those of you who have honored by their visit the galleries and the artists during our “zero” edition in 2010, will be able to see the scale and the importance of this fair, with in particular, a very rich Education Program. MENASART-FAIR, we remind you, is the opportunity that allows collectors, art amateurs and visitors from all around the world to gather in order to discover the most “relevant” artists of the ME.NA.SA. (Middle East, North Africa, South Asia) region.

Eventually, the artistic committee has chosen 25 galleries, particularly working on the promotion of emerging artists among the most renowned in our regions, which will enable us to host 200 artists representing around 20 countries thanks to 1.000 art works!

MENASART-FAIR has chosen to establish in Beirut, in the heart of this vast territory, because it’s the only contemporary art fair dedicated to this region. This important gathering for our countries deserved to lean on a rich and ambitious cultural program, especially in Lebanon, the bridge among so many communities, at a moment when art imposes itself, as a vector of peace and dialog, at the beginning of this summer.

MENASART-FAIR 2011 proposes an extremely rich and ambitious program including around twelve conferences, debates and round-tables animated by the biggest art specialists in the ME.NA.SA. There will be several precious occasions to discuss for dealers, collectors and curators and address issues such as developing contemporary art trends in South Asia or challenges facing emerging Middle Eastern artists. There will be many parties and meetings among these different personalities which will make the dialog richer in a festive atmosphere that is so important and dear to Lebanese.
