N° 41 — December 2017 – January 2018

Diptyk #41

Bamako Biennale, Africa Pride

For its 41st issue, Diptyk is changing its tone and aims to bring contemporary art out of its insular world by grounding it in the real world. This December 2017–January 2018 issue celebrates Africa’s rising profile at the Rencontres de Bamako and features a portfolio by Malick Sidibé. It follows Mustapha Akrim’s art project and commemorates the centennial of Jacques Majorelle. It also travels to Sharjah, a mecca for high culture, and features the film *The Square*. Interviews, analyses, and photo features round out the issue.
