Kehinde Whiley: Black Remix

For the summer of 2013, Diptyk #19 features Kehinde Wiley’s “Black Remix” on its cover, in which he paints young Moroccans in the style of the great masters. This June–September issue follows Abdellah Karroum, a key figure at L’appartement 22 in Rabat, as he takes the helm of the Mathaf in Doha. He explores the Venice Biennale and its universal ambitions and attends the opening of the MuCEM in Marseille.
