N° 8 — December 2010 – January 2011

Diptyk #8

Binebine the Goldfinger

Just as Paris Photo announces an African focus, Diptyk #8 celebrates African photography with a portfolio devoted to Seydou Keïta and Malick Sidibé, an Africa in search of beauty. This December 2010–January 2011 issue also visits the new Mathaf museum in Doha, a tribute to Arab creativity, and meets gallerist Jérôme de Noirmont. It looks back at the exhibition of Mahi Binebine, “the goldfinger”, on the cover, and at a fiercely contested trove of drawings by Albert Marquet. On the market side, it reviews the first Marrakech Art Fair.
