Diptyk #34

Erasure, Overlay, Reappropriation: Diptyk #34 explores the palimpsests of contemporary art. In a lengthy interview, Mounir Fatmi discusses his close ties to the Beat Generation in Tangier. This summer 2016 issue also features a portfolio by Dawit L. Petros on the cover and covers Tino Sehgal’s halqa in Marrakesh. He visits the exhibition “Fugitive Volumes” at the Mohammed VI Museum and reflects on the Dakar Biennale. Finally, the issue features a special section on embroidery that addresses sexuality and this summer’s graphic novels.
