N° 20 — October–November 2013

Diptyk #20

A Strong Start to the School Year

“Beyond this border, your ticket is no longer valid”: Diptyk #20 explores the border as a site of identity for artists from the Arab world and Africa. This October–November 2013 issue is marked by one major event: ten years after Kacimi’s death, the courts have finally returned his studios in Témara, revealing more than a thousand works. We also follow Mounir Fatmi, who is rewriting his history in Casablanca, and Adel Abdessemed at the Mathaf. Finally, the issue takes a look at the fall art fairs, from 1:54 in London to Beirut.
