N° 31 — December 2015–January 2016

Diptyk #31

Mohammed VI Museum: César, the Masterful Gesture

From *Le Pouce* to *Compressions*, the Mohammed VI Museum is dedicating a major exhibition to César, and *Diptyk* #31 explores how the sculptor prioritized the machine over the hand. This December 2015–January 2016 issue also looks back at the magazine *Souffles*, which, fifty years ago, campaigned for cultural decolonization. It features a visit to the Biennale of Photographers from the Arab World in Paris. It also features a portfolio by Uche Okpa-Iroha, an interview with Simon Njami, and a report on the Rencontres de Bamako.
