N° 33 — April–May 2016

Diptyk #33

For the first time in Africa, Giacometti

For the first time in Africa, Alberto Giacometti is the subject of a retrospective at the Mohammed VI Museum in Rabat. Diptyk #33 accompanies the exhibition with writings by Jean Genet and Tahar Ben Jelloun. This April–May 2016 issue also celebrates the power of the written word, featuring Jean Genet, the eternal rebel, at the MuCEM, and Abdellah Taïa. It features a portfolio by Seydou Keïta and an interview with Simon Njami ahead of the Dakar Biennale. It also revisits Farid Belkahia’s home and takes stock of the art market in 2016.
