Diptyk #38

Mohammed VI Museum: Picasso, Facing Genius

In the spring of 2017, African art is taking center stage on both sides of the Mediterranean, from “L’Afrique en capitale” in Rabat to exhibitions in Paris. Diptyk #38 covers this unprecedented convergence. It also features a special section on “Picasso, Face to Face with Genius,” the major exhibition at the Mohammed VI Museum. Throughout the issue, readers will discover Chourouk Hriech’s Cameroonian sketchbook and the Lebanese comic strip featured at the Masnaâ Festival. The issue also includes a profile of Khalil Nemmaoui and a report from the Sharjah Biennial.
