MMVI: Fifty Years Later, Rediscovering Cherkaoui

Fifty years after his death, Ahmed Cherkaoui, a central figure of Moroccan modernity, is being honored at the Mohammed VI Museum. Diptyk #43 invites readers to rediscover him. This April–May 2018 issue also previews the Dakar Biennale with Simon Njami and features an interview with Felwine Sarr. It explores the delicate artistic vision of Massinissa Selmani and takes stock of an art market entering a new era, from Casablanca Art Week to Art Dubai. Interviews, analyses, and portfolios round out the issue.
