N° 5 — April–May 2010

Diptyk #5

Melehi, a Seventies Revival

In spring 2010, Diptyk #5 brings a wind of seventies revival around Mohamed Melehi, on the cover. This April–May issue publishes Marco Barbon’s portfolio, between the ephemeral and the eternal, and a portrait of gallerist Nathalie Obadia, cosmopolitan by instinct. It meets Mona Hatoum and her rebellious utopias, then enters Saâd Hassani’s studio. It also looks back at Mohamed Ben Ali R’bati, a figure of Moroccan genre painting, and at Istanbul, capital of culture. On the market side, African art comes out of the woods.
