Pour sa troisième édition placée sous le signe des « Mémoire(s) », le Mai de la photo mettra pendant un mois en synergie les principaux acteurs culturels de la ville de Marrakech : de la Fondation Dar Bellarj à la Maison de la photographie, en passant par le MACAAL, Le 18, le Es Saadi Resort ou la Fondation Ali Zaoua. Coordonnée par Cédric Gatillon et Yvon Langué, la manifestation proposera à l’Institut Français une exposition principale regroupant les différents participants. Récemment rénovée, la Maison Denise Masson accueillera « La chance qui danse » de Delphine Warin, une série de portraits d’un Maroc intime, et, en collaboration avec la Fondation Montresso, un solo show de Rida Tabit.
For its third edition, May of Photography returns to Marrakech under the theme “Memory(ies)”, bringing together the city’s leading cultural spaces in a month-long celebration of image and remembrance.
From Fondation Dar Bellarj to Maison de la Photographie, MACAAL, Le 18, Es Saadi Resort, and Fondation Ali Zaoua, the festival creates a rare moment of synergy across the city’s artistic landscape.
Coordinated by Cédric Gatillon and Yvon Langué, the main exhibition at Institut Français will gather participating artists in a collective presentation.
Recently renovated, Maison Denise Masson will host La chance qui danse by Delphine Warin, an intimate portrait series of Morocco, alongside a solo show by Rida Tabit, presented in collaboration with Fondation Montresso.
